Multiple Alternate Shipping addresses can be defined for accounts. To add a new alternate shipping address:

Navigate to the Related section of the Account page.

Under Alternate Shippings (Sell-to Customer), click on the New button.

Complete the required fields to define the shipping location, if different from the main Account address.
These addresses can be used on Sales Orders or Purchase Orders and include options for specifying different sales tax and shipping method details.
Alternate Shipping Basic Fields
- Account - The Account this Alternate Shipping address is associated with.
- Blocked - If checked, this Alternate Shipping address will be excluded from the Sales Order entry page.
- Broker - Select the Broker associated with this Alternate Shipping address, if applicable. The lookup is limited to Accounts where the Is Broker field is checked.
- Delivery Note - Text area for entering notes about delivery to the Alternate Address.
- Import Alternate Shipping - The Import Alternate Shipping Record linked to the Alternate Shipping.
EDI & Integrations
- EDI Shipping ID - Used to define the Alternate Shipping address when processing EDI 850 orders.
- Is Residence - Indicates whether the Alternate Shipping address is residential. This is used in integrations with Zenkraft to calculate shipping rates.
Shipping
- Shipping Agent - Default shipping agent for this address (e.g., UPS, FedEx, Truck).
- Shipping Agent Service - Default service for the shipping agent (e.g., UPS Ground, FedEx First Overnight). Values are defined in the Global Value Set and used with Zenkraft for rate calculations.
- Shipping City - City of the Alternate Shipping address. This is displayed on shipping and receiving documents in GoldFinch.
- Shipping Code - For informational purposes. Some companies prefer to use a code instead of a name to identify the Alternate Shipping address.
- Shipping Contact - Contact person for this Alternate Shipping address.
- Shipping Country - Country of the Alternate Shipping address. This is displayed on shipping and receiving documents in GoldFinch.
- Shipping Payment Type - Default payment type for shipping: Sender, Recipient, or Third Party. Used in Zenkraft integrations for rate calculations.
- Shipping Postal Code - Postal code of the Alternate Shipping address, displayed on shipping and receiving documents.
- Shipping State - State of the Alternate Shipping address, displayed on shipping and receiving documents.
- Shipping Street - Street address of the Alternate Shipping address, displayed on shipping and receiving documents.
- Shipping Warehouse - Default warehouse for orders placed using this address. If specified, it overrides the Tax Area on the Account when creating new transactions.
- Transportation Method - Default shipping method for this Account. Options include H-Customer Pickup and M-Motor (Common Carrier). Values are defined in the Global Value Set.
Tax
- Tax Area - Tax Area used to calculate sales tax for this address. Overrides the Account Tax Area if specified.
- Tax Exemption No. - Tax Exemption Number for this address, if applicable.
- Tax Liable - If checked, sales tax is calculated based on the defined Tax Area.
