Archiving and Restoring a Sales Order

You can save a copy of a sales order before making any changes to preserve the original version. You can also restore any version of the sales order.

Archive a Sales Order

• On the Sales Order page, click the Archive Order button.

Confirm Archiving

• Click the Archive button to confirm the action.

Archiving Details

• The Sales Order and its Sales Lines are copied to the Sales Order Archive object, with a new Revision No. assigned.

• The Revision No. on the original Sales Order is incremented by 1.

This process helps maintain a record of changes and allows for version tracking of Sales Orders.

Restore a Sales Order

Navigate to any archived version of the sales order, then click the Restore Order button.
