Basic Warehouse Setup with One Pick Bin

Warehouses are physical locations where inventory is stored.

Default Warehouse

The post-installation script creates a default warehouse named Main upon installation and is ready for immediate use. You can rename this warehouse and add the warehouse address.

The default warehouse comes with a single bin, Pick, and is configured to bypass warehouse activities such as pick tickets, put-aways, and movements.

Turning on the Pick Function

• Create a new bin named "Ship Bin" with Bin Type = Ship.

• Assign this bin to the Ship Bin field in the location setup.

• Uncheck the Bypass Pick for Shipment option to enable the pick process.

• Uncheck the Populate lots when Create Shipment.

Creating a New Warehouse

The most efficient way to create a new warehouse is by cloning an existing one. Cloning a warehouse will create a new warehouse along with all associated bins from the original warehouse.

Deleting a Warehouse

A warehouse can only be deleted if no transactions have been recorded against it. Once any transactions have been recorded, the warehouse cannot be deleted.
