Clone Items

New items in GoldFinch can be efficiently created by cloning an existing item. This method saves time by duplicating essential configurations from the original item.

What is Cloned?

When you clone an item, the following details from the original item will be copied:

• Item Detail

• Accounting Posting Setup

• Cost and Price

• Warehouse Information

• Manufacturing Setup

• Planning Information

• Item Units of Measure

• Item Formulas

• Item Routings

How to Clone an Item

1. Open the App Launcher and search for Items.

1. Select the item you want to clone.

1. Click on the Clone button.

2. Enter the new item information.

3. Select Clone Routing and Clone Formula to copy the routing and formula to the new item.

4. Click Clone Item to complete the process.
