Configure Accounting Variables

Overview

In GoldFinch, you can configure up to 4 Accounting Variables that can be posted to GL Entries for financial reporting purposes. You can skip this page if you do not require financial statements based on accounting variables, such as department or project.

Steps

On the Company Setup page, click New in the Accounting Variables section.

1. Enter a name for the Accounting Variable value

2. Select the appropriate Accounting Variable type.

3. Click Save to save the changes.

4. Click Save and New to save the changes and create a new Accounting Variable value.
