When configuring items for Batch Manufacturing, there are several specific fields that need to be set up to ensure your batch production process runs smoothly. Below is an explanation of these key fields:

Field Name	Explanation
Batch Manufacturing	Required for Batch Manufacturing. Mark this box if the item is a Batch Manufactured item. You will also need to set up a Batch Item Unit of Measure and define a Default Batch Unit of Measure.
Default Batch Unit of Measure	Required for Batch Manufacturing. Defines the default Item Unit of Measure for Batch Work Orders. The Item Unit of Measure must have a Type of Batch, and this will also determine the Formula Size for Batch Manufactured Items.
Default Batch Size	Required for Batch Manufacturing. This field is autopopulated based on the Default Batch Unit of Measure.
Batch Output Tolerance %	Required for Batch Manufacturing and for lot-tracked items. Controls the allowed variance in the quantity of output for each batch, determining how much more or less output can be produced without triggering an error.
Consumption Tolerance %	Required for Batch Manufacturing and for lot-tracked items. Allows you to adjust the quantity of raw material consumed in each work order. This field controls how much variance in component consumption is allowed before the system raises an error.
