Connection to Plaid

GoldFinch Plaid Connection Setup

• In GoldFinch, navigate to Setup, then Custom Metadata Types.

  • Find the Bank Connect Integration Setting and click on Manage Records.
    
    

• Click Plaid to open the Plaid integration setting.
  
• In the Plaid integration record, confirm the following:
  • Active is checked.
  • For Sandbox testing, the Test Mode2 field is also checked.
  

GoldFinch Bank Connect Setup

Navigate to Bank Connect Settings.

Click New Bank Connect Setting and follow the on-screen steps to connect your bank accounts.

• If “Test Mode” is checked, your instance is set to connect to the Plaid Sandbox environment

  • When prompted for a bank login, use the following credentials

    • Username: user_good

    • Password: pass_good

  • If prompted for a mobile verification code, type: 1234

Once you connect with your banking institutions:

• Bank Connect Setting will be populated with the access token.

• Bank Connect Details records will be created automatically for each connected bank account.

Download Bank Transactions

To begin importing bank transactions:

1. Map each Bank Connect Detail record to a Bank/Credit Card GL Account.

2. Enter the Start Date. Leave it blank if you prefer to download all available transactions.

3. Click Download Bank Transactions to pull in the latest transaction data.
