Convert Sales Quotes

To convert a Sales Quote into a Sales Order, follow these steps:

• Click "Convert Quote"

• When creating the Sales Order, you can either retain the original quote pricing or recalculate the prices based on the Order Date.

• Input the customer’s PO number if available.

• GoldFinch will verify several conditions before converting the quote to an order:

  • There is no existing Sales Order that has already been converted from the quote.

  • If the customer account has a credit limit (greater than 0), GoldFinch will assess whether the order should be placed On Hold based on credit conditions. For more information, read Order On Hold Conditions.

• Once the order is created, allocations will be generated automatically if both the customer and the item are set up for automatic allocation.
