Create Multiple Shipments for one Sales Order - Delayed Approach

You can create additional Warehouse Shipments from different warehouses after shipping the initial one.

Processing Steps

Create the Sales Order:

• Ensure the Warehouse field is populated with the first warehouse you need for the Sales Order.

• Verify that the Sales Lines for the first warehouse have sufficient Allocated Quantity.

Create the First Shipment:

• Click Create Shipment.

• Edit the shipment if necessary to remove any lines or quantities that should be shipped from the secondary warehouse instead.

• Click Post to complete the Warehouse Shipment for the first warehouse.

Update the Sales Order:

• Return to the Sales Order and update the Warehouse field with the secondary warehouse.

• Check that the remaining Sales Lines for the secondary warehouse are correctly populated and have sufficient Allocated Quantity.

Create the Secondary Shipment:

• Click Create Shipment for the secondary warehouse.

• Review the details and then click Post to finalize the Warehouse Shipment.
