Create Warehouse Shipments

When a Sales Order is ready to be processed in the warehouse, a Warehouse Shipment is created for the warehouse staff to pick, pack, and ship the goods to the customer.

Create a Warehouse Shipment

To create a Warehouse Shipment from the Sales Order:

1. Click Create Shipment.

2. The Warehouse Shipment will be generated based on the items currently allocated to the Sales Order.

1. Preventing Partial Shipments:

   • To avoid creating a partial shipment, select the "Do Not Allow Partial Shipment" checkbox on the Sales Order.

   • With this option enabled, you can only create a Warehouse Shipment when the Allocation Status is Full, ensuring that all items are fully allocated before proceeding.

Mass Create Warehouse Shipments

GoldFinch allows you to create Warehouse Shipments in bulk, streamlining the process by avoiding creating shipments for each Sales Order individually.

To mass-create Warehouse Shipments:

1. From the Sales Order list, select Create Shipments.

2. Choose the Sales Orders for which you want to create shipments.

3. Click the Mass Create Shipments button.
