Data Conversions

Overview

Now that you have successfully tested your business processes in the Sandbox UAT environment, you are ready to import your company's master data.

Depending on the complexity and volume of your data, you can either:

• Manually enter records through the GoldFinch user interface.
• Use GoldFinch's Data Conversion tools to import data in bulk.

Many implementations use a combination of both methods. For example, you may manually enter a small number of records, such as General Ledger Setup or Warehouses, while importing larger datasets, such as Customers, Vendors, Items, and Open Transactions.

Choose the method that best fits each type of data.
