Adding Custom Fields

• As an Admin, you can add custom fields to any object in your Salesforce Org. However, there are limitations on which GoldFinch pages you can add these fields to, and how these fields interact with GoldFinch's logic.

Creating Custom Objects

• Admins can also create custom objects within Salesforce. However, like custom fields, there are limitations on how these objects integrate with GoldFinch’s built-in logic.

Workflows

• Workflows are part of standard Salesforce and can be applied to GoldFinch objects. As an Admin, you can create workflows as needed. However, we recommend becoming familiar with your live GoldFinch implementation before creating workflows to avoid unintended issues.

Approvals

• Similar to workflows, Approval Processes are part of standard Salesforce and can be used with GoldFinch objects. Again, it’s advisable to fully understand your GoldFinch implementation before setting up approval processes.

Process Builder

• Process Builder is a more advanced tool for building workflows. Admins have access to Process Builder but will be limited in how they can use it with GoldFinch's internal logic.

Custom Functionality

• If you have an idea for new functionality within GoldFinch, feel free to reach out to the GoldFinch team. GoldFinch is continuously evolving, and your idea might already be in development or under consideration for future releases.
