Import Payroll

Payroll and human-resource–related information is highly sensitive. For this reason, we recommend not tracking detailed, employee-level payroll data in GoldFinch.

Instead, outsource payroll processing to a specialized payroll provider. At the end of each payroll period, import the summarized payroll results into GoldFinch using Import General Journals.

Before importing, you can edit the CSV template to allocate payroll amounts by department, project, or other accounting variables, ensuring accurate financial reporting without exposing sensitive employee data.
