Item Routing Basic Fields
- Conversion - Defines the conversion factor between the Routing Unit of Measure and its Base Unit of Measure.
- Description - Additional information about the routing.
- Extended Cost - Calculated as Quantity Per * Standard Cost.
- Instructions - Detailed instructions for the routing. These instructions will be printed on the Work Order Batch Report.
- Line No. - Auto-assigned line number that uniquely identifies the Item Routing line.
- Operation No. - Defines the sequence of the routing steps. It can be assigned to an Item Formula to consume the linked components with this routing.
- Outside Service - References the Work Center Service Item.
- Parent - Specifies the parent item associated with this Routing.
- Per - Indicates the quantity of the Unit of Measure required to produce one parent unit.
- Routing Group - Automatically consumes raw materials within the same Routing Group when makeup quantities are needed for scrap adjustments.
- Routing Version - Specifies the Routing Version associated with this Item Routing line.
- Setup - Represents the setup time required to execute this routing step. Currently, it is not utilized in Work Order processing.
- Specific Cost - When selected, the Unit Cost (instead of the Standard Cost) will be applied to the Work Order.
- Standard Cost - Refers to the Work Center Service Item's standard base cost.
- Unit Cost - Applied to the Work Order if "Specific Cost" is selected. For example, if the Unit of Measure is "Hour," the Unit Cost is 1, and "Per" is 10, the total cost for the routing step would be 10.
- Unit of Measure - Specifies the Unit of Measure used to calculate time or quantity for this routing step.
- Work Center - Represents the Work Center Service Item used in this operation.
