To calculate costs for a single item with a one-level Formula (BOM) and no versions, you can use the Roll-up Cost button directly on the Item Detail page.
Important Notes
The Roll-up Cost button will not function in the following scenarios:

Formula or Routing Versions Exist
If formula versions or routing versions are set up. -
Multi-Level BOM
If the item contains multi-level Item Formulas (BOMs).
For such scenarios, use the Standard Cost Worksheet to calculate costs: Process Standard Cost Worksheet for Items with FIFO Costing Method
Steps to Roll Up Costs

Prepare Item Formulas and Routings:
Ensure the parent item has its Formulas and Routings properly configured. -
Use the Roll-up Cost Button:
Click the Roll-up Cost button to calculate the following for the parent item:-
Standard Base Cost
-
Standard Base Material Cost
-
Standard Base Capacity
-
Cost Breakdown
-
Standard Base Material Cost: Calculated from the total costs of the item's formula.

Standard Base Capacity Cost: Calculated from the total costs of the item's routing.
-
Standard Base Cost: The sum of Standard Base Material Cost and Standard Base Capacity Cost.
