Steps for Create Duplicate Rule / Matching Rule

Duplicate Management can be set up by creating the following two rules.

• Matching Rule

• Duplicate Rule

Steps to Create a Matching Rule

• Go to Setup -> Duplicate Management -> Matching Rules.

• Click on New Rule. You will be redirected to the following page.

• Select the object you are making the rule for.

• After selecting the object, create the rule like this

• After you create the rule, click on the Activate button.

Steps to Create a Duplicate Rule

• Go to Setup -> Duplicate Management -> Duplicate Rules.

• Click on New Rule by selecting the object for which you want to create a duplicate rule.

• The Following screen will be shown.
