Inventory Quantities & Status
- Allocated – If the EnableSKU feature is turned on, Allocated Qty. will be automatically calculated.
- Available
- Incoming – If the EnableSKU feature is turned on, Incoming Qty. from Purchase Order will be automatically calculated.
- On Hand – If the EnableSKU feature is turned on, On Hand Qty. will be automatically calculated.
- Transfer Out
- Waiting – If the EnableSKU feature is turned on, Waiting (Qty. Not Allocated on Sales Line and Transfer Line) will be automatically calculated.
Calculated Planning Parameters
- Calculated Daily Usage – System-calculated Daily Usage.
- Calculated Lead Time Days – System-calculated Lead Time Days.
- Calculated Reorder Qty. – System-calculated Reorder Qty.
- Calculated Safety Stock –
If Calculated Daily Usage ≤ 0: Locked Daily Usage × Safety Stock Days
If Calculated Daily Usage > 0: Calculated Daily Usage × Safety Stock Days - Daily Usage to Use – If Use Calculated Parameters = True: Calculated Daily Usage; Else: Locked Daily Usage.
- Lead Time Days to Use – If Use Calculated Parameters = True: Calculated Lead Time Days; Else: Locked Lead Time Days.
- Reorder Qty. to Use – If Use Calculated Parameters = True: Calculated Reorder Qty.; Else: Locked Reorder Qty.
- Safety Stock to Use – If Use Calculated Parameters = True: Calculated Safety Stock; Else: Locked Safety Stock.
- Use Calculated Parameters – Indicates if Calculated Daily Usage, Lead Time Days, Reorder Qty., and Safety Stock should be used.
Locked (User-Defined) Planning Values
- Locked Daily Usage – User-defined Daily Usage.
- Locked Forecast Model – User-defined Forecast Model.
- Locked Lead Time Days – User-defined Lead Time Days. It is used when generating supply orders.
Purchase Order – Expected Receipt Date = Plan Date; Order Date = Plan Date − Lead Time
Work Order – Ending Date = Plan Date; Starting Date = Plan Date − Lead Time
Transfer Order – Order Date = Plan Date − Lead Time; Shipment Date = Plan Date − Lead Time; Expected Receipt Date = Plan Date - Locked Reorder Qty. – User-defined Reorder Qty. The minimum order quantity for replenishment.
- Locked Safety Stock – User-defined Safety Stock level. (Same as Reorder Point.) The minimum inventory on-hand requirement.
Replenishment Rules
- Maximum Qty. – GoldFinch will break down the suggested Quantity by Maximum Qty when calculating the Supply Plan or creating Requisition Lines from Sales Orders.
- Order Multiples – The quantity to which an order is rounded up. Example: With an Order Multiple of 5, an order of 17 rounds to 20.
- Reorder Cycle Days – Number of days for the Reorder Cycle.
- Reorder Policy – Defines how the SKU is reordered.
- Replenishment System – Defines how the SKU is replenished. Possible values: Purchase, Work Order, or Transfer Order.
Item & Vendor Information
- Item – The Item for which the SKU applies.
- Item Category – The Item Category of the Item for which the SKU applies.
- Item Description – The Description of the Item for which the SKU applies.
- Preferred Formula Version
- Preferred Vendor – Reference to the Vendor from whom you would prefer to buy.
- Purchase Unit of Measure – The Unit of Measure in which the SKU is purchased.
- Purchasing Agent – Required to run Supply Plan. Default Purchasing Agent can be defined in User Setup.
Location & Storage
- Default Bin
- Default Shelf – Used as an alternative to record where inventory is when advanced WMS is not implemented.
- Transfer-from Warehouse – The Warehouse where the SKU is stored prior to Transfer. Used if Replenishment System = Transfer.
- Warehouse – The Warehouse associated with the SKU.
Dates & Identifiers
- External ID
- First Stock Date – The date at which the SKU started being stocked.

- On Scheduled WO (Consumption)
- On Scheduled WO (Output)
- On WO (Consumption)
- On WO (Output)
