Why Some Fields Cannot be Edited from a List View

Why are there certain fields I can’t edit from the List View?

Answer:

There are two main reasons GoldFinch users cannot edit fields on the list:

• The object has several Record Types and the list view is not filtered by one Record Type.

• The fields that you want to edit are not available on the standard page layout.
