Why is the Dropship Order Not Allocated to the SO?

Why is the Dropship Order not allocated to the Sales Order?

Answer:

For the Dropshipping scenario, allocation doesn’t happen as stock doesn’t come into your warehouse and add up in your inventory. It is shipped to the customer directly.
