Work Order's Due Date
-
When a Work Order is created from a Supply Plan or Requisition, the Due Date is set based on the originating Supply Plan or Requisition record.
-
The Due Date can also be updated manually on the Work Order.
Work Order's Ending Date
-
Updating the Due Date on the Work Order will also update the Ending Date/Time to match.
-
The system will then recalculate Work Line Starting Date/Ending Date using the logic below.
Work Line's Starting Date/Ending Date
-
Routing Lines (Work Center =
true): Use the Run Time and Business Hours to calculate and set the Starting Date/Time and Ending Date/Time. -
Component Lines (Work Center =
false):-
If linked to a Routing Line: use the linked Routing Line’s Starting Date/Time and Ending Date/Time.
-
If not linked: use the Work Order’s Starting Date/Time and Ending Date/Time.
-
Work Order's Starting Date:
-
The Work Order’s Start Date is set to the Starting Date of the first Routing Step.
Work Line's Due Date:
-
All Work Line Due Dates are set to the Work Order’s Start Date.
Use Lead Time to Calculate Work Order's Starting Date
-
If you prefer to use SKU’s Lead Time Days to calculate Work Order's Starting Date, instead of using the Routing lines, so that:
- Start Date = Ending Date − Lead Time Days
- Enable the following Custom Setting:
Name:
UseLeadTimeToUpdateStartDateValue:
True
