Overview
GoldFinch will develop three AI-powered operational consoles to help customers:
- Begin adopting Agentforce in alignment with Salesforce’s product roadmap.
- Establish practical use cases that demonstrate measurable productivity improvements and justify the investment in AI.
- Minimize Agentforce consumption costs by using Apex, scheduled processing, and external AI services for background analysis.
- Use Agentforce primarily as the conversational layer to explain results, recommend next steps, and execute user-approved actions.
This approach gives customers immediate operational value while providing a practical, controlled path toward broader Agentforce adoption.
Positioning
Customer-facing message
Three AI-powered operational consoles that identify what needs attention, explain why it matters and help users take the next action—directly within Salesforce.
Salesforce-facing message
GoldFinch extends Agentforce into ERP, supply planning, document processing and accounting with trusted business context and transaction-ready actions.
This gives Salesforce account executives a credible Agentforce use case while ensuring that GoldFinch—not Agentforce consumption alone—delivers most of the customer value.
Product Principle
Detect with GoldFinch. Analyze with Apex and Gemini. Present through the console. Explain and act with Agentforce.
This approach makes GoldFinch Scout more practical than a general-purpose ERP chatbot. It controls Agentforce consumption costs and creates three strong productivity solutions that can provide value even when customers are not ready for extensive Agentforce usage.
The Three AI Consoles
1. AI Document Processing Console
The AI Document Processing Console will improve accounts-payable productivity by helping users:
- Monitor invoices received through email, file upload and other channels.
- Review document extraction and processing status.
- Identify validation failures, potential duplicates and missing information.
- Detect unmatched vendors, items, purchase orders and accounting dimensions.
- Prioritize invoices awaiting review, correction or approval.
- Receive recommended corrections and next steps.
- Create and review draft purchase invoices.
- Use GoldFinch Scout to explain errors, recommend corrections and retry approved actions.
2. AI Supply Planning Console
The AI Supply Planning Console will improve planner productivity by helping users:
- Identify projected shortages and excess inventory.
- Detect unsuccessful, incomplete, or potentially unreliable planning runs.
- Explain demand-and-supply imbalances.
- Review forecast exceptions and significant demand changes.
- Prioritize late purchase orders, work orders and sales orders.
- Identify delayed or missing replenishment actions.
- Recommend purchasing, production, transfer, or rescheduling actions.
- Use GoldFinch Scout to create draft purchase orders, work orders, transfers or planning changes.
Gemini can perform large-scale forecasting and supply-planning analysis in the background. Agentforce will retrieve the prepared results, explain their business impact, and help users take appropriate actions.
3. AI Accounting Console
The AI Accounting Console will improve accounting operations and period-close productivity by helping users identify and manage:
- Unposted accounting documents.
- Failed postings and integration errors.
- Overdue receivables and collection tasks.
- Unmatched bank transactions.
- Approval bottlenecks.
- Unusual account balances or transaction patterns.
- Incomplete reconciliations.
- Period-close checklist exceptions.
- Recommended corrections and follow-up actions.
GoldFinch Scout can explain accounting exceptions, recommend next steps, draft communications and execute approved corrective actions.
Minimizing Agentforce Consumption
GoldFinch will not rely on Agentforce to search thousands of records, perform large calculations or generate forecasts in real time.
Instead:
- Apex, Flow and scheduled jobs will identify exceptions, failures and pending work.
- Gemini, BigQuery or other batch-processing services will perform large-scale forecasting and analytical work.
- GoldFinch will save the results as structured exception, recommendation or insight records in Salesforce.
- Each console will display prioritized results without requiring continuous Agentforce usage.
- Agentforce will be invoked when the user requests a conversational or transactional capability, such as:
- Explain this exception.
- Explain why this item will be out of stock.
- Recommend the next action.
- Draft a customer or vendor communication.
- Create or update a Salesforce record.
- Resolve or retry an exception.
- Create a draft purchase order, work order, or purchase invoice.
This design lets users review dashboards, work queues, and exception lists without continuously consuming Agentforce actions.
Recommended Architecture
| Layer | Technology | Responsibility |
|---|---|---|
| Detection and workflow | Apex, Flow and scheduled jobs | Identify exceptions, failures, pending tasks and required follow-ups |
| Large-scale analysis | Gemini, BigQuery and batch processing | Perform forecasting, supply-planning analysis, anomaly detection and other high-volume calculations |
| Operational workspace | GoldFinch AI Consoles | Present prioritized work, supporting evidence, recommendations and available actions |
| Conversational and action layer | Agentforce and GoldFinch Scout | Explain results, answer contextual questions and execute approved actions |
| System of record | Salesforce and GoldFinch | Preserve transactions, approvals, security, business rules, and audit history |
