GFERP Package Installation Fails - (MFA Approval Required)"

Issue

When installing the GFERP managed package, the installation does not complete and no confirmation email is received.

The Deployment Status page in Salesforce Setup shows a component error similar to the example below:

Error: An unexpected error occurred. Please include this ErrorId if you contact support: 499724933-269592 (1811944024)

Cause

This typically happens because Salesforce requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) confirmation for the GoldFinch integration user before the package can be deployed.

Resolution

1. Open the GoldFinch User record in Salesforce Setup.

2. When prompted, confirm the login request using multi-factor authentication (MFA) by approving it on your phone.

3. Return to the package installer and try installing the package again.

4. Allow up to 30 minutes for the installation to complete.

If the error continues after following these steps, contact GoldFinch Support and include the ErrorId shown on the Deployment Status page.
