Create a contract report
1. Open Reports and select New Report.
2. Choose the approved contract report type, including related GoldFinch records when available.
3. Add the fields needed by the audience and remove confidential fields that are not required.
4. Apply status, date, owner, department, and contract-type filters.
5. Group and summarize values as needed.
6. Save the report in a folder with the correct access and test it with representative users.
Schedule and distribute reports
Salesforce report subscriptions and scheduled distribution options depend on the customer's edition and configuration. Administrators should confirm recipient access, frequency, and platform limits. A report does not grant recipients access to records they are not authorized to view.
Search considerations
Structured fields support reliable filtering by expiration date, party, owner, status, and other captured terms. Searching the full text of every clause in an uploaded PDF is not equivalent to a configured clause library or CLM repository. Advanced clause search or extraction may require another product.
