Configure Multi-Ledgers Overview

Overview

GoldFinch allows you to track transactions for multiple GL Ledgers, each with its own base GL Currency.

Note
If you only have one GL Ledger, skip this help page. You must use a blank value for GL Ledger in order to post.

Steps and Setup

  • Contact a System Administrator to enable Multi-Ledgers by following this link:
    Enable Multi-Ledgers

  • Company Setup:

    • Navigate to Company Setup.

    • Click on the GL Ledgers related list to add GL Ledgers with Ledger Type = Actual.

    • For more information on GL Ledger types, please refer to this guide: GL Ledger Types Overview

    • Default GL Ledger Setup:

    To set a default GL Ledger for all transactions, go to Company Setup and enter a Default GL Ledger.


    • User-Specific GL Ledger:

    To assign a default GL Ledger for a specific user, go to User Setup and enter the appropriate GL Ledger.
