If your system is set up with barcodes and you have scanning capability, you can simplify your inventory counting process using the Scan Bin Count mobile app. This app allows you to scan inventory counts by bin and post adjustments directly from your mobile device.
Steps to Use the Scan Bin Count Mobile App:

Set Up Barcodes:

Ensure your items and bins have barcodes assigned in GoldFinch. Barcodes should be properly linked to the items and bins for easy scanning.

Download and Access the Mobile App:

Download the Salesforce Mobile app to access Scan Bin Count on your mobile device.

Log into the app using your credentials to access your warehouse data.

Scan Counts by Bin:

Use the app to scan the barcodes of the bins you are counting.

After scanning each bin, enter or confirm the quantities for the items stored in that bin.

Post Adjustments Directly from the App:

Once all counts are scanned and confirmed, the app allows you to post the adjustments directly into GoldFinch.

This automatically updates your inventory records with the scanned counts, eliminating the need for manual data entry.
