Every company should be thinking strategically about becoming an agentic enterprise.
One key initiative is to create a self-service customer portal using existing Salesforce technologies, such as a self-service portal, to improve customer service and engagement.
The GoldFinch Customer Portal is built on Salesforce Experience Cloud licenses and leverages Salesforce Agentforce technology.
Through the portal, customers can:
- View KPIs and key business metrics
- Access transactions and account activity
- Place orders
- Review AR balances
Additionally, customers can use a chatbot powered by Agentforce to:
- Query inventory on-hand
- Check AR balances
- Review order status

This approach provides every customer with real-time, self-service access to critical business information while reducing the burden on support teams.
We use custom LWC components to avoid requiring additional licenses for accessing GoldFinch objects. However, both Experience Cloud and Agentforce still require their respective licenses from Salesforce.
