Warehouse Setup with One Pick Bin and One Input Bin

In addition to the Pick bin configured in One Pick Bin with One Input Bin, configure an Input bin with QC as the Bin Type. The Input bin serves as a temporary holding area on the shop floor for manufacturing. You can select multiple work orders to replenish the Input bin. For detailed instructions, refer to Replenishing Production Input Bin.

For manufacturers who do not consume components exactly as specified by the BOM formula, you can perform a daily cycle count on the Input bin to account for gains or losses in raw materials.

Input Bin Setup

• The Bin Type must be set to QC to prevent the bin from being used for picking.

• Inventory can be moved in and out of bins with the QC Bin Type.
