Yes. GoldFinch provides several pallet management features to improve warehouse receiving, shipping, labeling, and reporting.
Pallet Reporting
If you want GoldFinch to estimate the number of pallets required for inventory movements, define the Pallet quantity on the appropriate Item Unit of Measure (UOM).
For example:
- 1 Case = 0.025 Pallet (1 Pallet = 40 Cases)
- 1 Piece = 0.0005 Pallet (1 Pallet = 2,000 Pieces)
Once configured, GoldFinch automatically calculates the estimated number of pallets for:
- Sales Order Lines
- Transfer Order Lines
- Warehouse Shipment Lines
It also summarizes the estimated pallet count at the document level, providing a quick estimate of the total number of pallets required for the shipment or transfer.
Note
These pallet quantities are estimates for planning and reporting purposes only. They are independent of the Receiving and Shipment Pallet features described below.
Receiving
The following features support receiving inventory on physical pallets:
- Create Receiving Pallets and Put-away Pallets – GoldFinch Clientcare
